Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions to the KollabHR platform, sold by Koverhoop Technologies Inc. via Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized Merchant of Record. All purchases are subject to Paddle’s terms in addition to this Policy.

1. General Policy

All KollabHR subscription fees are non-refundable. When you subscribe to KollabHR, you are purchasing access to the Platform for the current billing period. Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.

2. Free Trial — Important Notice

KollabHR offers a free trial for new Customers. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly plan and your payment method on file will be charged. You must cancel your subscription before the trial end date to avoid being charged.

You will receive a reminder notification before your trial expires. To cancel, go to your account settings at any time before the trial ends.

If you are charged because you did not cancel before the trial ended and you contact us within 48 hours of the charge, we will review your request and may issue a one-time courtesy refund at our sole discretion. After 48 hours, the standard non-refundable policy applies.

3. Exceptions — When Refunds May Be Issued

KollabHR offers feature-based plans with no seat limits. If you upgrade your plan, the new rate applies from your next billing cycle. Downgrades also take effect from the next billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period when downgrading.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to keep the Platform accurate and up-to-date, Koverhoop is not liable for any loss, direct or indirect, arising from your use of or reliance on the Platform, including issues related to billing, payment processing, or platform functionality. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Koverhoop’s liability in connection with any refund dispute shall not exceed the amount charged for the billing period in question.

7. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation in the Province of Quebec, other Canadian provinces, or applicable US state laws. Where statutory rights apply, they take precedence over this Policy.
